Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable transportation strategies to reduce carbon emissions and improve efficiency
Evaluate existing transportation systems and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations
Assess the environmental impact of transportation activities and recommend environmentally friendly alternatives
Monitor compliance with local and national regulations related to transportation
Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies in sustainable transportation
Manage relationships with transportation partners and vendors

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
Strong understanding of sustainability practices and their application to transportation operations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Proficiency in using transportation management software and other relevant tools
