Your Role

Act as a key player in ensuring the protection of critical assets and projects within the ACT.
Develop and implement robust security strategies and solutions, tailored to the unique needs of the building and construction industry.
Collaborate with industry experts, government agencies, and key stakeholders to identify emerging security threats and mitigate risks.
Advise and support internal teams on security protocols, emergency response plans, and compliance with relevant legislation.
Conduct comprehensive security assessments, audits, and investigations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective countermeasures.
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes to maintain the highest standard of security practices.

About You

Proven experience in providing security solutions, ideally within a military or security context.
Strong analytical skills to identify potential risks and develop proactive security measures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
Certifications in security management or related fields will be highly regarded.
Australian citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance are essential.
