Position: Legal Guru

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, optimizing our activities to meet legal standards.
Provide expert advice on legal matters related to agricultural cooperatives, including contracts, land use, labor law, and intellectual property.
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, ensuring the cooperative's interests are protected.
Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation that impact the agricultural industry.
Collaborate with internal teams to proactively identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to minimize them.
Handle legal disputes and litigation processes, when necessary, ensuring the cooperative's best interests.

Requirements:

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent in Law.
Proven experience in a legal role, preferably within the agricultural, cooperative, or related sectors.
Deep understanding of Sicilian, Italian, and EU laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Italian.
