Job Description:

As a Historical Engagement Strategist, you will be tasked with developing and implementing innovative digital strategies to engage visitors, both on-site and online. Your goal will be to create a captivating and immersive experience that brings the historical significance of Pompeii to life for our diverse audience.

Responsibilities:

Create and execute a comprehensive engagement strategy to promote Pompeii's historical significance
Research and analyze visitor trends and behaviors to identify opportunities for digital engagement
Develop and curate engaging content that showcases the rich heritage of Pompeii
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital initiatives into the visitor experience
Utilize data and analytics to measure the impact and success of digital engagement efforts
Maintain a strong understanding of emerging technologies and trends in the digital realm
Monitor and manage online communities, responding to inquiries, comments, and feedback
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices to maximize engagement and optimize results

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (History, Archaeology, Marketing, or equivalent)
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful digital engagement strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of historical and archaeological concepts
Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
