Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on the diverse flora and fauna found in Namaqualand
- Collaborate with fellow team members to identify and document indigenous plant species
- Analyze research data to draw meaningful conclusions and present findings
- Assist in the development of educational materials and publications related to local ecosystems
- Support fieldwork activities, including collecting and cataloging samples, as required
Qualifications:
- Background in biology, ecology, environmental science, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of the unique natural landscapes and biodiversity in the Northern Cape
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to draw accurate conclusions from data
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively share research findings
