About Us:
We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team at Nevada State Board of Accountancy. As a wildlife conservation specialist, you will play a crucial role in protecting and preserving Nevada's diverse wildlife population.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to conserve wildlife habitats
- Conduct research on endangered species and develop conservation plans
- Collaborate with government agencies, research institutions, and NGOs for conservation initiatives
- Educate the public about Nevada's wildlife and promote conservation efforts
- Enforce wildlife protection laws and regulations
- Monitor wildlife population trends and conduct surveys
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Biology, Ecology, or Environmental Science
- Proven experience in wildlife conservation or related field
- Strong knowledge of Nevada's flora and fauna
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Valid driver's license
