About Louisville Zoo:

Position: Wildlife Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement enrichment programs to ensure the physical and mental well-being of our animals.
- Manage daily operations of designated animal habitats, including feeding, husbandry, and exhibit maintenance.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other zoo professionals to monitor and maintain animal health and welfare.
- Participate in animal training, behavioral observations, and research projects.
- Engage visitors through educational presentations, guided tours, and public speaking events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Zoology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Prior experience in animal care, husbandry, or related roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of animal behavior, enrichment, and conservation principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for wildlife conservation and education.
