We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team in a unique opportunity to positively impact young minds through our Caring Companions program.
Position: Caring Companions Coordinator
Job Description:
- Facilitate classroom visits by animal therapy teams
- Create and implement lesson plans centered around the human-animal bond
- Coordinate community outreach events to promote awareness and sensitivity towards animals
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate animal-assisted activities into the curriculum
- Oversee the selection, training, and evaluation of therapy animals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with animals in an educational or therapeutic setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Possess empathy and demonstrated commitment to animal welfare
