ZELTWANGER Maschinenbau GmbH, located in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Management Specialist.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain management processes and ensuring the seamless transportation and logistics of our products. As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, you will work closely with various departments, including production, procurement, and sales, to ensure efficient coordination and timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet company objectives and customer demands
Manage inventory levels and optimize stock replenishment procedures
Coordinate transportation operations, including freight forwarding and customs clearance
Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes
Identify and address any potential risks or disruptions to the supply chain
Utilize cutting-edge technologies and software for supply chain management
Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
Prior experience in supply chain management or a similar role
Strong knowledge of transportation, logistics, and inventory management principles
Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Fluency in German and English
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology is a plus
