We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Professional Conservator to join our team in the Northern Cape province of South Africa.

Role Overview

Assess the conservation needs of our natural resources and environmental assets.
Develop and implement strategies for preserving and protecting our valuable ecosystems.
Collaborate with artists, educators, and scientists to create innovative projects and initiatives.
Conduct research on sustainable energy solutions and advise on environmentally friendly practices for our facilities.
Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, techniques, and best practices in conservation and environmental preservation.
Train and mentor young artists interested in utilizing their skills for environmental advocacy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Fine Arts, Environmental Science, or Conservation.
Proven experience in conservation and environmental projects, preferably in an artistic or youth-focused context.
Strong knowledge of environmental principles, sustainability, and renewable energy sources.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals and artists.
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
Passion for mentoring and empowering young individuals through art.
