Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the wine industry
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential legal risks
Develop, implement, and update company policies and procedures
Advise management on legal matters and recommend appropriate actions
Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements
Monitor changes in legislation and provide training to staff on legal implications
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal concerns and provide guidance

Requirements:

Proven track record of working in a legal or compliance-related role
Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the wine industry
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
Experience in the wine industry is a plus
