Position: Crafts Research Analyst


Job Description:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify potential improvements in artisan crafts.
  • Collaborate with our skilled craftsmen and external experts to implement innovative research methods.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to develop strategic recommendations.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance product designs, materials, and production processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations highlighting research findings and propose actionable solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Art History, Cultural Anthropology, or Design.
  • Proven experience in conducting research and analysis in a creative or cultural industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with craftsmen, experts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Icelandic arts, crafts, and cultural heritage is preferred.
