Position: Innovation and Security Solutions Expert

Job Overview:

Develop and implement cutting-edge solutions to enhance the security and efficiency of rural water utilities across Kansas.
Collaborate with industry stakeholders and partners to identify emerging trends and technologies.
Drive innovation by conducting research, analyzing data, and providing strategic recommendations.
Lead projects related to security enhancements, risk assessments, and crisis management.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain security measures for rural water utilities.
Develop comprehensive plans and strategies to mitigate potential threats and emergencies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security regulations and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce innovative technologies.
Evaluate and recommend security software, hardware, and systems.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on security protocols.
Conduct risk assessments and participate in incident response evaluations.
Provide expert advice and guidance to member utilities on security matters.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science).
Extensive experience in security risk management, crisis management, or related areas.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and methodologies.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards (e.g., NIST, CMMC).
