Position: Innovations Coordinator

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Innovations Coordinator to join our team in Tasmania. As an Innovations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in identifying and implementing new ideas and processes that align with our vision for growth and innovation. While the position falls within the Healthcare/Medical sector, it involves a unique blend of skills and opportunities to promote advancements in our distillery.

Responsibilities:

Researching and exploring cutting-edge technologies, techniques, and ingredients related to distilling and spirit production
Collaborating with our master craftsmen and distillers to develop new products and improve existing ones
Managing product development projects from conception to commercialization
Conducting market research and identifying consumer trends to drive product innovation
Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
Building partnerships with external vendors, universities, and research institutions for collaborative initiatives
Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization
Supporting the development and implementation of marketing strategies for new products
Maintaining accurate documentation of all innovations, experiments, and findings

Requirements:

Experience in a related field such as food science, chemistry, or product development
Passion for innovation, creativity, and exploring new possibilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent project management abilities and attention to detail
