The Northern Cape Film Commission is seeking a Multicultural Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in South Africa's Northern Cape province. About the Role:

As a Multicultural Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in attracting diverse businesses and clients to the Northern Cape. Your primary responsibility will be promoting our region as an ideal location for retail and sales companies within the film industry. You will have the opportunity to develop innovative marketing strategies targeting multicultural audiences and contribute to the growth of our local economy.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential retail and sales companies interested in film production or utilizing film-related services.
Create and implement marketing campaigns to attract a multicultural range of businesses to the Northern Cape.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, regional film industry professionals, and government entities.
Collaborate with the film commission team to identify opportunities for promoting the Northern Cape as a diverse and inclusive destination for retail and sales companies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving multicultural marketing strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in multicultural marketing, preferably within the retail or sales industry.
Strong knowledge of the South African film industry and its multicultural landscape.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing campaigns.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Proactive and results-driven mindset.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
