We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Community Development Coordinator.

About Us:

SPAR Eastern Cape is a leading retailer in the Eastern Cape province, providing high-quality products and excellent service to our customers. We have a strong focus on community development and support various initiatives to uplift the agricultural and rural sectors in the region.

Your Role:

Coordinate and implement community development projects related to agriculture and rural development.
Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers, agricultural organizations, and community partners.
Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the agriculture and rural sectors.
Engage with relevant government departments and external stakeholders to advocate for the needs of the community.
Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and training sessions.

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in a related field such as agricultural science, rural development, or community development.
Prior experience in community development or a similar role is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
A passion for agriculture and rural development.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Driver's license and own transportation.
