Position: Behavioral Health Promoter

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement programs that enhance mental wellness, self-care practices, and overall emotional health.
Collaborate with local businesses, community organizations, and cultural stakeholders to promote mental health awareness within the diverse tourism sector.
Plan and organize events and workshops to educate both tourists and residents on the need for cultural competence and sensitivity in all aspects of mental health support.
Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement in mental health services for tourists and locals alike.
Conduct outreach initiatives to foster positive mental health practices among various cultural communities.
Work closely with the Regional Director to ensure implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols related to behavioral health.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in psychology, social work, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the tourism industry and vacation experiences.
Experience working with diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusivity.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions for program development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
Passion for mental health and a desire to make a difference in people's lives.
Fluency in English; knowledge of multiple languages will be considered a strong asset.
