Position: Pet Welfare Specialist

Job Summary:

Ensure the health, happiness, and overall well-being of our beloved animal companions
Utilize your expertise in animal psychology and behavior to create a calm and friendly environment
Collaborate with our dedicated team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Assist in managing the daily operations of our pet welfare programs

Responsibilities:

Monitor the physical and emotional needs of the animals under our care
Provide hands-on care, including feeding, grooming, and exercise
Administer medication and treatments as directed by veterinarians
Coordinate with adoption agencies and potential pet owners to find suitable forever homes
Conduct behavior assessments and offer training guidance to enhance adoptability
Maintain accurate records of each animal's health, behavior, and progress

Requirements:

Passion for animals and a strong commitment to their welfare
Prior experience in animal care, preferably with a focus on pet welfare and rescue
In-depth knowledge of animal behavior and psychology
Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills for maintaining digital records
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in pet care is a plus
