Position: Fashion Legal Specialist

Your Role

At Veneto Fashion House, we are seeking a highly talented individual to join our Innovations Team. As a Fashion Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance and providing sound legal advice and support to our organization.

Responsibilities:

Conduct extensive research and analysis on legal matters related to the fashion industry, including intellectual property rights, contracts, and regulatory compliance
Ensure the company's activities are in alignment with current laws and regulations in the fashion sector
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
Manage and monitor trademark and copyright registration processes
Support the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and sourcing, to provide legal guidance and ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle
Stay updated on relevant laws and industry trends, assessing potential impact on the business
Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal matters

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Strong knowledge of Italian and European fashion laws and regulations
Experience working in the fashion industry or a related field
Proven experience in copyright and trademark law
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to navigate complex legal issues and provide practical solutions
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
