About the Role

As a Curriculum Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing improvement and development of our curriculum. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to design and implement effective curriculum plans aligned with state standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct research on current educational practices and trends to inform curriculum development
Work closely with teachers and administrators to identify curriculum needs and areas for improvement
Create and revise curriculum materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments
Ensure curriculum aligns with state standards and promotes interactive learning
Provide ongoing support and professional development to teachers in implementing the curriculum
Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of curriculum resources and instructional strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Experience in curriculum development or instructional design
Strong knowledge of relevant educational standards and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Dedication to ongoing professional development
