Position: Agricultural Outreach Specialist

Job Summary:

Community Aid Foundation is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Agricultural Outreach Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with local farmers, organizing community events, providing technical expertise, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Responsibilities:

Engage with local farmers to understand their needs and provide tailored advice
Develop and implement outreach programs to promote sustainable agricultural practices
Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions for farmers
Collaborate with government agencies and agricultural organizations to facilitate knowledge exchange
Conduct research to identify and address challenges faced by the agricultural community
Provide technical guidance on crop rotation, soil management, pest control, and other agricultural techniques
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Science, or related field
Proven experience in agriculture, preferably in a farm advisory role
Strong knowledge of local farming practices and challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
Passion for sustainable agricultural development
Proficiency in Dutch and English languages
