Hyprop Investments, a leader in responsible and sustainable real estate development in the Western Cape region of South Africa, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Sustainable Development Specialist to join our dynamic team.

As a Sustainable Development Specialist at Hyprop Investments, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company's commitment to social responsibility and environmental stewardship. Your expertise in environmental management, geology, and sustainable practices will contribute to our ongoing efforts to create a greener future for our communities.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable development strategies and initiatives across our various projects.
Conduct environmental impact assessments and monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organizations, and environmental experts, to foster partnerships and drive sustainable initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to project teams in integrating sustainable practices into their operations.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes in the field of sustainable development.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
Proven experience in sustainable development, environmental management, or geology.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and their application in the real estate industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
