We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team at the Rhode Island Convention Center Authority as an Experience Coordinator. If you have a knack for creating unforgettable experiences and are excited about the world of travel, this role is perfect for you!
As an Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for curating and coordinating personalized vacation packages for our clientele. Through your attention to detail and expert knowledge of Rhode Island's attractions, you will create tailored itineraries that showcase the best of our state.
Responsibilities:
- Research and stay up-to-date on Rhode Island's tourism attractions, hotels, entertainment venues, and restaurants
- Communicate with clients to understand their interests, preferences, and budget
- Create customized vacation packages based on client requirements
- Coordinate with local businesses to arrange accommodations, tours, dining reservations, and other activities
- Ensure seamless execution of travel arrangements and resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering a personalized, memorable experience
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the tourism industry or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Rhode Island's attractions, geography, and culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for creating unique experiences
- Proficiency in using travel management software and online platforms
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
