We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Compliance Officer to join our team of legal professionals. Position Overview:

As a Legal Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization adheres to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting legal research to stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting our operations
Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures
Conducting internal audits to assess compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies
Providing legal advice and guidance on various matters to internal stakeholders
Developing and delivering compliance training programs
Investigating incidents of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent
Admission to the Australian legal profession
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a legal or compliance role
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex legal documents
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
