Position: Animal Welfare Compliance Officer

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with national animal welfare regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and industry professionals to identify areas for improvement and develop appropriate strategies.
  • Provide guidance and education to businesses and individuals regarding responsible animal care practices.
  • Respond to animal welfare concerns, investigate complaints, and take necessary corrective actions in adherence to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and present findings to management and external stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Veterinary Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in animal welfare, veterinary services, or related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of national and international animal welfare regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and handle sensitive situations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
