Position: Animal Welfare Compliance Officer
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with national animal welfare regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and industry professionals to identify areas for improvement and develop appropriate strategies.
- Provide guidance and education to businesses and individuals regarding responsible animal care practices.
- Respond to animal welfare concerns, investigate complaints, and take necessary corrective actions in adherence to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and present findings to management and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Veterinary Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Experience in animal welfare, veterinary services, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of national and international animal welfare regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and handle sensitive situations.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
