Responsibilities:

Lead a team of transportation specialists to optimize routing, scheduling, and delivery operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, inventory, and customer service to ensure excellent service delivery.
Develop and implement strategies to improve transport efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall customer experience.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of the transportation fleet, ensuring maximum uptime and compliance with safety regulations.
Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable contracts.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the transportation department.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or a similar field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and logistics software.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation industry practices.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
CDL license (preferred).
