Position Overview:

Responsible for the well-being and care of animals under Sport Wales' supervision
Design and implement tailored nutrition and exercise plans for each animal
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of animal habitats
Monitor and respond promptly to any signs of illness or distress
Collaborate with the team to organize and execute engaging activities for animals

Requirements:

Proven experience and deep understanding of animal behavior and care practices
Strong knowledge of animal health and nutrition
Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments with care and compassion
Excellent observation and analytical skills to identify signs of distress or illness
Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
Previous experience in a related role is preferred
An Animal Care certification is desirable
