Join Our Team as an Excursion Coordinator

At Highland Wilderness Retreat, we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and personalized attention to detail. We are currently seeking an Excursion Coordinator to join our vibrant team, ensuring smooth operations of our retail and sales functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule outdoor excursions for guests, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and customer satisfaction.
Assist customers in their selection of activities, packages, and products best suited to their interests and preferences.
Collaborate with tour guides, activity providers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of excursions.
Maintain and update inventory of outdoor equipment, gear, and merchandise.
Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
Handle customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support throughout the guest experience.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to effectively manage multiple excursions and customer requests simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Knowledge of outdoor activities, hiking trails, and local attractions in the Western Highlands of Iceland.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and maintaining composure under pressure.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
