The Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Cultural Events Coordinator. Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and execute a wide range of cultural events and programs in line with the museum's mission
- Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful events
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, artists, and performers
- Coordinate event marketing and promotion efforts across various channels
- Manage event registration, ticket sales, and attendee communications
- Provide exceptional customer service during events and handle any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in event planning and project management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Jewish culture, traditions, and history
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
