At Fundación Deixalles, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence in the Balearic Islands. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the role of Professional Sports and Entertainment Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute sports and entertainment events on behalf of Fundación Deixalles
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful coordination of events
- Identify potential sponsorship opportunities and establish partnerships to support events
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective implementation of initiatives
- Develop marketing strategies to promote events and maximize attendance
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, equipment rentals, and transportation
- Oversee event staff and volunteers, providing clear instructions and guidance
- Evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event planning and coordination
- Strong knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry in the Balearic Islands
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
