About the Role

As a Wealth Insights Analyst at Canada Life, you will play a vital role in driving our market strategies and making data-driven decisions. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and analyze complex financial data to provide valuable insights to our Wealth Management team. You will work alongside experienced professionals and collaborate across various departments to enhance shareholders' value and drive business growth.



Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze financial and market data to identify trends and provide insights on investment opportunities.
  • Track and monitor industry performance, including market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
  • Utilize statistical models and methodologies to forecast market movements and draw data-driven conclusions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market research findings, investment strategies, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Work closely with Wealth Management teams to understand client needs, develop customized investment solutions, and refine product offerings.
  • Support business development initiatives by conducting market analysis and identifying potential partnerships and growth opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in conducting research, analysis, and report generation utilizing advanced statistical techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment principles, and portfolio management.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools like R, Python, or SAS and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or similar would be an advantage.
