Position: Pet Care Specialist
Job Description:
- Provide excellent care and services for various types of animals in our facility.
- Assist in feeding, grooming, and exercising pets according to their specific needs.
- Administer medication and follow prescribed treatments under the guidance of a veterinarian.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets and report any concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness of animal living areas and ensure a safe environment.
- Interact with pet owners and provide guidance on pet care, nutrition, and training.
- Assist in organizing events and activities to promote pet adoption and awareness.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, or a relevant degree in animal sciences.
- In-depth knowledge of animal behavior, nutrition, and health.
- Passion for providing exceptional care and improving the lives of pets.
- Ability to handle animals with patience, compassion, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate pet owners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle physical demands of the job.
