Position Overview:

As a Strategic Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's strategic communications efforts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage diverse audiences and further advance Bodø kommune's initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Devise innovative communications strategies to promote the organization's key messages.
Create compelling content for various digital and traditional media platforms.
Manage media relations and act as a spokesperson for the organization.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement cohesive communication plans.
Analyze and monitor the impact of communication efforts, providing recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful communications strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
Proficiency in utilizing various communication tools and platforms.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
