Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable agriculture programs and curriculum
Coordinate with local farmers, businesses, and organizations to promote sustainable agricultural practices
Advocate for environmental stewardship and educate students and the community about the importance of sustainable agriculture
Organize and manage community gardens and agricultural projects
Collaborate with teachers to integrate sustainable agriculture concepts into existing curriculum
Conduct research and stay updated on best practices in sustainable agriculture
Participate in community outreach activities to raise awareness about sustainable farming and its benefits

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Studies, or a related field
Experience in sustainable farming or agriculture
Strong knowledge of organic farming practices and sustainable agricultural methods
Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable living
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in basic computer applications
