Position: Diversity and Inclusion Advocate

At Agder Department of Community Development, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Diversity and Inclusion Advocate. This position plays a pivotal role in promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusivity within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to enhance diversity and inclusion within healthcare services
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, organizations, and the community to promote cultural competency and address health disparities
Provide guidance and support in creating inclusive policies and practices
Organize diversity training programs for healthcare providers and staff
Create and lead outreach initiatives to engage marginalized communities
Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives

Requirements

Relevant educational background and experience in the healthcare field
Deep understanding of diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively and engage stakeholders at all levels
Passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes for diverse communities
