Data Insights Specialist - Transforming Knowledge into Success

At FVCC, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Data Insights Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving our institutional success by utilizing your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to gather, interpret, and evaluate data related to our programs, students, and community demographics.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop comprehensive research strategies.
Collect and analyze data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
Interpret data and identify key trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare detailed reports and compelling visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
Conduct market analysis, including competitor research and demographic studies, to uncover opportunities for growth and development.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Business Analysis).
Proven experience in data analysis, research, or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into meaningful insights.
Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings to diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
