We are seeking a passionate professional to oversee the development and implementation of community engagement initiatives within the sports and entertainment industry. Role Overview:

As the Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating partnerships with local sports and entertainment organizations, coordinating community events, and designing outreach programs that foster a sense of unity and excitement among residents. You will also play a pivotal role in promoting the city as a premier destination for sports and entertainment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Forge strategic partnerships with sports and entertainment entities in the region
Plan and execute engaging community events and activities
Develop and implement outreach initiatives to increase community involvement
Promote Detroit as a leading hub for sports and entertainment experiences
Collaborate with internal teams to align community engagement efforts with the city's vision

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
Proven experience in community engagement, event planning, or partnership development
Strong understanding of the sports and entertainment landscape
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships concurrently
Demonstrated passion for enhancing community involvement and cultural experiences
