About the Role:

As an Innovation Coordinator for Pet-Aided Research, you will work alongside brilliant minds in various fields to explore the intersection of pets and scientific advancements. Your main responsibility will be to facilitate the development and coordination of cutting-edge research projects focused on leveraging the therapeutic potential of pets, without directly referring to pets or animals in the job title.

Responsibilities:

Identify and assess research opportunities in the field of human-animal interaction
Liaise with experts in diverse disciplines to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange
Develop and implement innovative strategies for pet-assisted therapies
Manage research grants, budgets, and timelines
Coordinate and oversee project teams, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to scientific standards
Analyze and interpret research data, drawing insights and making recommendations
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field and contribute to scientific publications
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including industry partners and organizations

Requirements:

Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field
Strong passion for innovation, animals, and their potential impact on human well-being
Proven experience in research project management
Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration and convey complex ideas
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
Publication record in relevant scientific journals (preferred)
