Position: Community Engagement Specialist

As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships between our organization and the local community. Your main responsibility will involve designing and executing initiatives to promote civic participation, stimulate dialogue, and encourage collaboration.

Your key responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance community engagement
Organize and facilitate community events, meetings, and workshops
Cultivate partnerships with local entities and organizations
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify community needs and address challenges
Create and manage online platforms to encourage public involvement
Evaluate the impact of community engagement initiatives and provide reports

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Proven experience in community engagement, preferably in a governmental or non-profit environment
A strong understanding of local community dynamics in Thurgau
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships
Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
Proficiency in using technological tools for community engagement
A degree in social sciences, community development, or a related field
