Your Role
As a Sustainable Livelihoods Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in promoting economic growth and cultural preservation. Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of sustainable farming practices in collaboration with rural communities
- Facilitating workshops and training programs to enhance agricultural skills
- Coordinating resource allocation and funding efforts to support local agriculture initiatives
- Building partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and educational institutions to drive positive change
- Conducting research and analysis on market trends to drive the growth and diversification of rural agriculture
We are searching for an exceptional individual with a passion for sustainable agriculture, cross-cultural collaboration, and community engagement. This position requires strong leadership skills, adaptability, and the ability to navigate complex socio-economic dynamics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Studies, or related field
- Proven experience working with diverse communities and promoting inclusion
- Familiarity with sustainable farming techniques, environmental stewardship, and land management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and grant writing
