Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and talented individual to join our team at Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) - Eastern Cape. We have an exciting opportunity available for a Digital Solutions Architect within our organization. In this position, you will be responsible for developing innovative technology solutions to support our business objectives across various departments and projects.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with department leads to understand their technology needs and objectives
Design and implement digital solutions that align with organizational strategies
Provide technical leadership and expertise on software development methodologies and best practices
Oversee the development lifecycle of software projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery
Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their suitability for integration into our systems
Manage software development resources and ensure efficient allocation of tasks
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in software development and digital solutions architecture
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
Experience with enterprise-level software development frameworks and methodologies
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
