Job Title: Cultural Heritage Preservation Specialist

As an organization deeply rooted in the preservation and celebration of Sicily's artistic heritage, we are searching for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team in the position of Cultural Heritage Preservation Specialist. This role requires expertise in the field of art and design with a focus on ensuring the longevity and protection of the region's cultural heritage.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement preservation strategies for art and cultural artifacts
Conduct research and assessments to evaluate the condition of artistic works
Create and maintain documentation on preservation processes and procedures
Design and oversee the installation of exhibitions to safeguard artifacts
Collaborate with conservation professionals for specialized treatments
Advise on best practices in handling, storage, and transportation of artworks
Educate the public on the importance of cultural heritage preservation
Stay informed about new techniques and technologies in the field

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Cultural Heritage, or related field
Proven experience in cultural heritage preservation, preferably in a museum or arts organization
Knowledge of conservation techniques, materials, and ethical guidelines
Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing cultural artifacts
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and research skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and respect for craftsmanship
Passion for environmental sustainability and commitment to reducing the ecological footprint
