Job Opening: Agricultural Community Health Coordinator

Overview: St. Luke's Health System is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to serve as our Agricultural Community Health Coordinator in Idaho. This position encompasses a unique blend of agricultural expertise, community engagement, and healthcare advocacy.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with local agricultural communities, farmers, ranchers, and agricultural organizations to develop and implement health promotion programs.
Identify health challenges and opportunities within the agricultural population and develop strategies to address them.
Educate agricultural workers on healthcare practices, disease prevention, and early detection.
Organize community events, workshops, and training sessions related to health and wellness topics.
Advocate for the healthcare needs of the agricultural community within St. Luke's Health System and external organizations.
Build strong relationships with local healthcare providers, public health agencies, and community stakeholders.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of agricultural health programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., agriculture, rural studies, public health) preferred.
Prior experience working in the agricultural industry or rural communities is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse agricultural populations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve program goals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
