Position: Wilderness Explorer

Are you an enthusiastic adventurer seeking a career that allows you to uncover the hidden treasures of Iceland's Western Highlands? We are currently hiring Wilderness Explorers to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Lead groups of tourists on exciting hiking and horseback riding expeditions through the scenic Western Highlands.
Provide knowledgeable insights about the region's geology, flora, and fauna to enhance guests' experience.
Ensure guests' safety at all times and monitor their well-being during tours.
Create engaging and educational interactions with guests, sharing fascinating stories and legends about the area.
Assist in maintaining the horses and equipment to guarantee a safe and comfortable expedition for all.

Requirements:

Passion for outdoor activities and a strong desire to explore and share the wonders of Iceland's Western Highlands with others.
Prior experience in horseback riding, hiking, or guiding tourists is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with guests of various backgrounds.
Physical fitness and stamina to lead tours in challenging terrain.
First-aid certification and basic knowledge of wilderness survival techniques.
Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus).
