About the Role:

Animal Wellness Specialist

As an Animal Wellness Specialist at TechConnect West Virginia, you will be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of our furry friends through the implementation of advanced technology solutions. Collaborating with our cross-functional teams, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying innovative applications to improve the lives of animals and their owners.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research and apply technology-driven approaches to enhance the quality of animal care.
Develop and implement applications aimed at improving animal health, nutrition, and overall well-being.
Create data-driven strategies to analyze and optimize pet adoption rates.
Collaborate with veterinarians, animal behaviorists, and industry experts to address challenges and develop solutions for animal welfare.
Utilize emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and IoT, to drive advancements in the Pets/Animals industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Computer Science).
Experience working with animals or a strong passion for animal welfare and advocacy.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
