Job Description

As an Excursion Planner at Enna Community Foundation, you will have the unique opportunity to design and curate memorable experiences for visitors seeking authentic Sicilian encounters. Through your extensive knowledge of the region, you will create personalized itineraries, highlighting lesser-known destinations and ensuring an immersive experience that showcases Sicily's beauty.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify off-the-beaten-path attractions, cultural events, and local experiences
Create tailored itineraries and provide recommendations based on visitors' interests and preferences
Liaise with local stakeholders, such as guides, transport providers, and accommodations
Coordinate logistics for excursions, including transportation, permits, and reservations
Ensure visitors' safety and well-being during excursions
Offer guidance and assistance to visitors throughout their stay
Collect feedback to continually enhance the quality of excursions

Requirements:

Passion for Sicilian culture, history, and natural beauty
Excellent knowledge of Sicily's less-traveled destinations and local attractions
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Prior experience in tourism, event planning, or hospitality is preferred
Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to ensuring the well-being of visitors
Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays
