Position Overview:

As the Aviation Innovation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing aviation-inspired initiatives within Sesame Workshop. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders to integrate aviation principles into our educational programs, ensuring that our content remains on the cutting edge of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop aviation-themed curriculum and activities to support our educational objectives
Collaborate with creative teams to infuse aviation concepts into our TV programs, online content, and games
Research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in aviation and aerospace
Act as a subject matter expert on aviation-related topics, supporting internal teams with accurate information and insights
Identify partnership opportunities with aviation organizations and industry leaders to enhance our programs and outreach
Conduct workshops and training sessions for internal staff to increase their understanding of aviation concepts and its potential impact on our mission

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Science, Education) or equivalent practical experience
Proven expertise in aviation concepts and the aerospace industry
Strong creative thinking skills to translate aviation concepts into engaging educational content
Excellent project management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines and milestones
Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams
Passionate about fostering a love for aviation and aerospace among children
