Job Opportunity: Sports and Entertainment Liaison

UP TO  $ 13,000 / month


Ontario Ministry of Francophone Affairs is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sports and Entertainment Liaison. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the sports and entertainment industry, ensuring the promotion and inclusion of the Francophone community in all relevant initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with sports and entertainment organizations to build partnerships.
  • Facilitate communication between the ministry and industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and participate in meetings, conferences, and events related to sports and entertainment.
  • Advocate for the Francophone community's presence and interests within the industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies and initiatives that align with the ministry's objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations for the improvement of programs and services.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on the ministry's initiatives and achievements.
  • Manage projects and budgets related to sports and entertainment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, legislation, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Experience in the sports and entertainment industry or in a similar liaison role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Fluency in both English and French is required.
  • Understanding of the Francophone community and its cultural aspects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
