Position Overview:

As an Environmental Solutions Engineer at BNSF Railway, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our environmental performance and compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmentally sustainable practices into our company's operations and manage various projects focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and pollution prevention.

Responsibilities:

Research, develop, and implement sustainable practices to improve our environmental performance
Create and execute environmental strategies and programs to comply with regulatory requirements
Identify and assess environmental risks and provide recommendations for mitigation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in environmental management, preferably in the transportation or energy sector
Familiarity with environmental regulations and policies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in using environmental software and tools
