Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst at ODEQ, you will play a vital role in managing and analyzing financial data to support our department's operations. You will work closely with a diverse team to ensure accurate financial reporting, develop budget forecasts, conduct financial analysis, and provide strategic recommendations based on your findings.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for management review
- Monitor budget performance and provide insights to support decision-making processes
- Conduct cost analysis and identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, financial models, and performance metrics
- Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and forecasts
- Stay updated with relevant financial regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
